Build Your Own Trail Mix

SERVES 5

1 cup raw, unsalted pumpkin seeds
1 cup dried cherries
2 cups dried cranberries
1 cup unsalted walnuts, chopped
1 cup unsalted hazelnuts, chopped
1 cup unsalted almond slivers
1 cup dark chocolate chips

Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Portion into reusable food-grade bags.

Note: This recipe is made to be customized. Add pretzels if you like sweet-salty flavors. Pack on the cranberries to soften up the texture of the nuts and add a little sweetness. The dark chocolate will add a little caffeine into your day and keep you alert and awake.
