Mary Stein is the program leader of the Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems (SFBS) program at Montana State University. As the deputy director of the National Farm to School Network from 2011–15, Mary improved access to healthy, locally sourced food in schools across the U.S. At MSU, Mary is an active proponent of interdisciplinary teaching and learning. Mary holds a BS in biology from Tufts University and an MS in nutrition science from Colorado State University.
