Jimmy Pepper

Bozeman native Jimmy Pepper spent his adult years as a professor of environmental studies and a planning consultant in California. His teaching, research, and practice focused on ecological principles to resolve land-use tensions and conflicts between wild, agricultural, and urban landscapes. Upon returning to Bozeman in the late 1990s, his advocacy of such an approach regrettably failed to gain traction with local government.
