Edible Bozeman

Bartender Sara Marsden gives the cocktail a smoky spritz.

The award-winning bar and restaurant Montana Ale Works, located in Bozeman’s historic Northern Pacific freight house, is known for its approachable, locally sourced, chef-driven food paired with cocktails and beer steeped in serious regional cred.

The Campfire Bōōz is a prime example of a classic Ale Works cocktail that is deeply Montanan. Whitefish Handcrafted Spirits Contraband Whiskey and Cranberry Moon Liqueur anchor the cocktail’s complex herbal, sweet, bitter, and smoky notes. It’ll warm body and soul just like hanging with friends around a campfire after a brilliant day outdoors.
